On February 4 the Iowa Board of Regents voted to rescind the spring semester 2010 tuition surcharge, subject to the legislature’s restoration of $30.4 million in general education appropriations to Iowa’s public universities, as included in the Governor’s FY 2011 budget.

We do not yet know when the three regent universities will be allowed to start refunding tuition surcharges.
